Want to know where your freight is on its voyage? Read on to find out how.

What Is OpenTrack?

OpenTrack is a data visibility platform that uses API integration with ocean carriers, rail carriers, and terminals to identify milestone events for ocean containers in transit. According to their website, more than 99% of global containerized shipments are covered by their network.

Data from these milestones — arrival and departure check-ins at terminals, exception alerts — is available to providers who work with OpenTrack as well as directly to the shippers who move freight with those providers.

That means if your intermodal shipment with Coyote uses a container that originated at an ocean port, OpenTrack can give you the most up-to-date location and status information about it possible.

How Do I Track My Freight With OpenTrack?

To view the latest updates for any ocean container freight you’ve shipped with Coyote, you’ll need to contact your rep who can activate login credentials for you with OpenTrack.

These credentials (which will use your own email address) will enable you to sign in at dashboard.opentrack.co where you will be able to access tracking milestones for each of your international container shipments with Coyote.

Note: OpenTrack only tracks international shipping containers. It cannot be used for domestic intermodal freight.
