How to Do Single Shipment Tracking in the CoyoteGO Mobile App
For carriers that want the ease of automated load tracking updates but don't want to sign up for a new program, we developed a new feature in CoyoteGO®, our digital freight platform.
Now, drivers can provide location updates on individual shipments without creating a full CoyoteGO account.
The instructions below will help you easily track your next shipment in the way that works for you.
How to Use Automated, Single Load Tracking Without a CoyoteGO Account
1. Download CoyoteGO
Once you provide the phone number of the assigned driver, we'll send them a text message with a link to download the CoyoteGO app. Note: they do not have to create an account, only download the app.
2. Select Get Started Under Single Load Tracking
If you have a CoyoteGO account, click Sign In to access the full platform.
If you do not have an account select Get Started to set up single shipment tracking.
3. Enter Your Phone Number
Verify your identify as an approved driver contact by entering your phone number to request a verification code.
4. Enter Verification Code
You will receive an SMS message with a 6-digit verification PIN and should input it into the Verification Code field.
Once complete, hit Start Tracking to proceed.
5. Accept Terms and User Settings
Before you can begin tracking, you are required to:
- Agree to the terms & conditions (Select Agree)
- Enable sharing your location data (Select Share)
These will only be applicable while you're hauling your Coyote shipment.
Though not required, we recommend that you enable notifications for CoyoteGO.
6. Start Tracking Active Load
Once you are onboarded and dispatched on the load, the current Active Load information will be displayed on your screen.
7. Finish Tracking
After completing your load, you will see a blank screen that states No Active Loads.
8. Help and Support
In addition to tracking shipments, you can access the Help Center and Settings.
