How to Earn Contest Points

Participating driver teams will earn points across three categories: service, miles and tech tracking. For carriers with more than one participating driver team, points are tracked by each individual driver team and are not cumulative on the carrier level.

Each category is weighted differently, with service (60%) being the most important, followed by miles (30%) and tech tracking (10%).

Service: Points are awarded by taking the average of two KPIs:

  • On-time pick-up percentage (OTP)
  • Transit time

Miles: Points are assigned by total miles based on the mileage in the rate confirmation. Only load mileage will count toward points — deadheading before or after a load does not contribute to mileage points.

Tech Tracking: The driver team must use one of these two methods and make at least one digital location status update to receive full points for tech tracking on that load.
